Could Diet Alter Your Personality?

Could Diet Alter Your Personality?

Could diet alter your personality? Your food may literally change everything about you. There is a tragic story called “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” that seems to be very prevalent to this time. Dr. Jekyll is the experiment and Mr. Hyde is the result or the consequence of that experiment. The moral of the story is all people have both good and evil within them, and that our choices determine who we are.

The good and evil could be altered parts of your personalities, somewhat engrained with tendencies that can be altered, at least looking at the aspects of experimentation. These alterations are composites of your choices. Personality is defined as the qualities that form a person’s character; sets of predictable behaviors or traits by which others recognize you as you really are. Even as genetics plays the main role, suggesting 30-40% heritability, there are other variables shaping all of us that exist outside of your DNA. Upbringing, stress, and life experiences play a more significant role than your genes. There are some dramatically and tragic DNA alterations to the mind, body that present a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde experience to change your personality. In my own case, a given example, for me, is one smell of gasolineand I uncontrollably become a Mr. Hyde. Alcohol and different drugs can also play the same trauma as well. You all know what sugar does to children, wires them up to no return.

The one that is showing profound effect that influences your personality is diet. What goes into your body does have its effect on your gut, brain function, moods, hormones, stress responses, immune health, as well as regulating inflammation. For example,  an imbalanced microbiome within your gut may increase the likelihood of mood disorders, uncontrollable anger or rage, impulsivity, or hopelessness and apathy. Addictive behavior, cravings and withdrawals can become prevalent on the ultra-processed diet. Food preservatives,  chemicals, especially MSG, and toxins in these types of foods can alter the wiring of all the body’s functioning systems. These all do alter your personality. The personality disorder is the end result of all the body trying to defend itself against the ‘experiment’ raging within.

You do have more control over who you are and who you become—than you may have thought. You do need to listen and pay attention to what your body is trying to say to you through the symptoms you are experiencing. So, the next time you sit down to your meal, consider that you are not just feeding your body, but you are also shaping your mind. The choices are yours to bear…make the wise choices or suffer the grave consequences that not only affect you but also others around you by your reactive behaviors.

The Anatomy of a Headache

According to Oxford’s Dictionary a migraine headache is a “severe headache, often accompanied by nausea and blurred vision.” Mosby’s Medical Dictionary states, “Allergic reactions, excess carbohydrates, iodine-rich foods, alcohol, bright lights or loud noises may trigger attacks, which often occur during a period of relaxation after physical or psychic stress.” A headache is the body’s chief warning signal of the body toxicity. The toxic load in the body has increased so fast that poisons are circulating in the bloodstream and cause irritation to the brain and nerves.

Swelling of the intracranial blood vessels around the scalp causes most headaches. During an onset of a headache, especially a migraine; the blood vessels in the brain continue to restrict because of stress, chemicals, sugars, and improper diet, which also disrupt hormone levels within the brain and body. The toxic flow throughout the body continues to build. Sedentary lifestyles, lack of sleep, stress, and pain medications only compound the situation.

Pain halts the digestive and elimination processes; so, most people will seek treatments to ‘cure’ their pain, but this systematic approach does not make the headaches go away and stay away. Instead, the headaches always return more frequently and may become more intense because the root cause has not been eliminated. Mild headaches can develop into migraine headaches and more drugs are sought…it’s a squirrel cage effect.

Proteinosis, which is poisoning from excessive protein, can cause headaches and a general achy feeling. Experts claim that a high protein diet will eventually destroy the entire glandular system. It places too much burden on the liver, kidneys, and adrenal glands.

Allergy is defined as an abnormal sensitivity to substances that may be harmless to most people. Migraine headaches are also classified as an allergic phenomenon. Certain food additives and preservatives, as well as chemicals in colognes, cosmetics, perfumes and household cleaners affect headaches.

In fact, when your body is detoxifying of toxins, a headache may result; hard as it is to do I suggest to ride it out, or you will stop the detoxification pathways.

There are other avenues that the body will do when it is challenged with anatomical issues as it is trying to maintain homeostasis. When in doubt it can be the best suggestion is to seek medical advice to perform a scanning procedure to find the root cause and solution.

Keep a diary of your headaches…and start the process of elimination, you will be amazed with the results.  It’s a good thing the body is working as it should be.

To the body’s freedom,
Marie

How Does Aluminum Impact Our Health?

All of my readers,

Almost every person is poisoned by deposits of heavy metals in some form or another in our lifetime. They come from our environment, the foods that we ingest, cosmetics, body care products, household products, and vaccines. Aluminum also may come from cooking, preparing and storing foods in aluminum containers.   I gave up all aluminum cookware including foil when I realized its dangers. It is considered a heavy metal to our body and is accumulative; therefore it can be difficult to eliminate it from the body, as it will remain until a cleansing diet or fast is followed. While a detox is in effect one can sometimes taste the metal that is being excreted, along with other uncomfortable symptoms.  Aluminum is a known neurotoxin and any exposure to aluminum has been implicated in neurological disease, including Alzheimer’s disease and Autism. Aluminum tends to build up in the brain  and the fat cells of the body until it reaches its “toxic threshold”. When aluminum is combined with any other heavy metal such as mercury it can threaten a dangerous overload for the body which can be extremely toxic, especially to the neurons in the brain, to the point of their death.
Toxicity symptoms may include: confusion, muscle weakness, bone pain, deformities and fractures, seizures, speech problems. and in children slow growth. I did a Google search on ways of removing only aluminum from the body. One way, research studies have demonstrated, Silicon-rich mineral waters up to one-liter per day for twelve weeks effectively reduced aluminum via the urine without any harmful effects on the essential metals such as iron and copper. Fuji water is rich in Silica-rich water and contains 83mg of Silica per
liter. I personally cannot contest this, but if it works? This is for just aluminum, do labs to check with any other heavy metal exposure. Those require other measures.
