WHAT! Give Up Meat? But Why?

WHAT! Give Up Meat? But Why?

There is truth in the saying “You are what you eat”. In the development of disease, many factors are involved. What you consume can be for your health and healing or for your suffering and early death.

The greatest threat to your health is the overconsumption and intake of animal products.  Basically, animal products include not only meat, but chicken, fish, eggs, and dairy as well. Overconsuming of these foods is the leading cause of excess weight, pain, ill health, disease, suffering, and death.

Now I am not saying everyone should become a vegetarian or vegan; that’s a personal choice. There is something that everyone can do, especially to take advantage of the intense research on this subject. Cut back! The overconsumption of animal products is killing us!

Fact: Animal foods including chicken and fish contains cholesterol, saturated fats and excess protein. Cooking these foods alters the protein composition which the body cannot break down for absorption. The saturated fats burden the circulatory and lymph systems, which will damage the vessels and will cause clog the arteries thus creating heart damage and atherosclerosis.

Fact: Heart disease has been the number one killer for over 100 years…it even outnumbers cancer.

Fact: When animal proteins are eaten daily; people are more likely to die of disease of cancers, diabetes, breast, prostate, and large bowel (colon and rectal cancers).

Fact: Osteoporosis is caused by an acid overload in the body; caused from excess dietary protein. In order for the kidneys to excrete this acid from the body it will pull calcium from the bones to complete this transfer. Of course, bones become very weak and brittle. Now this transfer of calcium to the soft tissues (arteries, skin, joints, internal organs and eyes) results in bone fractures, wrinkling of the skin, the formation of stones, cataracts, high blood pressure, degeneration of internal organs, loss of hearing, senility, and cancer. Meat also causes an increase in the urinary excretion of calcium.

Always caring,
Marie
